What I learned from undertaking my research projects

When doing research, checking information is extremely important. Success in identifying whether the author’s opinion is bias is usually the key to successful research papers. From undertaking this research, I become more careful in collecting information, which is very helpful in my future study.

 

What I found difficult about completing these projects?

Collecting information is a long and continuous process, the language barrier sometimes becomes obstacle in completing projects.

 

What I learned about teamwork while working on the survey project?

I have learned others’ opinions which broaden my sight as well as the necessity and importance of team work. At the same time, I began to cherish the chance of combining work.

 

What I learned about library research and citing my sources?

Library research is very important because the information there is more reliable, also library contains a wide range of useful information for us to choose from. I have learnt that when citing my sources, I must be careful whether the information is relevant to my points and whether the information is reliable enough.

 

Advice for next year's students:

Firstly, make sure the topic your have chosen is practical for carrying out relevant projects. Secondly, be active when doing researches and projects, do not give up easily. Thirdly, pay much attention when conducting worksheets. Fourthly, learn to share and cooperate, it’s a good chance for you to learn how to do teamwork. Finally, enjoy yourselves!
